Dell Introduces UltraSharp U2717D with InfinityEdge Bezels
Dell has introduced a new “InfinityEdge” model to its UltraSharp monitor lineup. The Dell U2717D features 27” IPS panel with 2560 x 1440 (WQHD) resolution and 60Hz refresh rate featuring a super-thin bezel design, which the company refers to as InfinityEdge, that lets you build multi-display setups, with minimal bezel loss. The panel surface features 3H anti-glare coating.
The panel is characterized by 1000:1 static contrast ratio, 350 cd/m² of maximum luminance, 178°/178° horizontal/vertical viewing angles, 350 cd/m² maximum brightness, 99% sRGB color gamut coverage, flicker-free backlight, and an 8ms (grey-to-grey) response time.
The connectivity ports include 2 HDMI 1.4 ports (with MHL 2.0), MiniDP 1.2, DP 1.2, DP out (for MST daisy-chaining), 4 USB 3.0 ports and a 3.5mm audio output.
The integrated stand offers multiple adjustment options (tilt, swivel, height, and pivot) and can also be very easily removed with the help of a quick-release button.
