Dell announce updates to XPS lineup, XPS 15 gets InfinityDisplay
It is raining Windows 10 PCs and Dell has entered the party with updates to their XPS lineup, a new XPS 12 2-in-1, XPS 13 and XPS 15. The new XPS 15, thanks to the InfinityEdge edge-to-edge display looks absolutely stunning. The XPS 15 will be available beginning Oct. 8 on Dell.com in the United States starting at $999. The XPS 13 will be available beginning Oct. 8 on Dell.com in the United States starting at $799. The XPS 12 will be available beginning in November on Dell.com in the United States starting at $999.

Dell XPS 13 and XPS 15 are now made of strong yet ultra light material light carbon fiber, machines aluminum. All the XPS models come with Corning Gorilla Glass NBT options (for touch screen variants). The new XPS models also have option to come with Thunderbolt 3 ports (8x faster than USB 3.0). The new XPS 12 2-in-1 comes with stunning 4K Ultra HD display and so is the only 2-in-1 with a 4K Ultra HD resolution display. There is an 8mp rear camera and a 5mp front facing camera. XPS 13 on the other hand can be configured to have up to 1TB of PCIe SSD, 16GB of RAM, InfinityEdge display, up to 18 hours of battery life. We can say that this is the world’s smallest 13″ notebook. XPS 15 also comes with InfinityEdge display, is just 11-17mm thin and weighs just 1.78 kgs. The UHD 4K resolution display has 3840×2160 pixel resolution, users can configure XPS 15 to come with 6th generation Intel Core i7 chip, NVIDIA GeForce® GTX™ 960M graphics (2GB GDDR5) and up to 16GB of RAM can feed data to CPU and GPU. Users can also choose between HDD (up to 1TB) or SSD (up to 1TB). XPS 15 can stay powered on for 17 hours on single charge, well, in best case scenario.
