CyanogenMod 12.1 now available for 2015 Moto G

It’s been only a few weeks since the Moto G’s release and we already have a CyanogenMod 12.1 for it at the XDA Forums. This is not an official CM12.1 port, of course, but all the feedback points to everything working on the 3rd generation of Moto G.

If you wish to have a custom ROM, then CyanogenMod is definitely one of the best sources of near stock AOSP based custom ROMs. This CyanogenMod 12.1 Custom ROM is built from the Kernel of the 2015 Moto E LTE variant as the Kernel for Moto G is still not available. XDA members “Alberto97” and “squid2” have developed this port, and they said that they will be updating it to the Moto G Kernel once it is available. This custom ROM is available for flashing via TWRP custom recovery. Check the official XDA thread and download the files you need for this ROM.
