Cortana now available to Windows Phone Preview users in France, Italy, Germany and Spain
Microsoft is bringing its digital assistant to four new countries today. As part of its Windows Phone preview program, WP Preview users in France, Italy, Germany and Spain can now access the services of Cortana. Support will be greenlit via an update to the Developer Preview, being rolled out to users enrolled in the program.
Microsoft’s Cortana is a digital assistant ala Apple’s Siri, but it’s smarter than Siri. You could say it’s a cross of Siri and Google Now, bringing you relevant information after learning from your usage. At the same time, you can start some basic conversation with it.
The update to the Developer Preview will add support for French, Italian, German and Spanish. Besides these four countries, Cortana is currently available to Windows Phone Preview users in USA, UK and China.
