Coolpad Max launched in India for Rs. 24,999
Coolpad has finally launched the Coolpad Max in India. The device has been priced at Rs. 24,999 and will be available exclusively from Amazon India. The device will be available in Rose Gold and Royal Gold colors.
The Coolpad Max runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with the company’s Cool UI 8.0 skinned on top. The device features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) 2.5D curved display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It has a pixel density of ~401ppi.
The device is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor with Adreno 405 GPU clubbed with 4 GB of RAM. It comes with 64 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card. It uses a hybrid SIM slot for microSD.
The Coolpad Max sports a 13-megapixel primary camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF), dual-tone LED flash and f/2.0 aperture along with a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture.
The Coolpad Max comes with a ‘Dual In One’ system in which there are two systems. First is an external system and a secure, encrypted internal system. Users can have two accounts for social media apps, and various messaging apps.
“We plan to invest larger on global market and targeting 100 per cent annual growth,” said Bin, Coolpad Group CEO. He also said that two more device will be launched in India before Diwali.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The device is powered by a 3,000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support. The device comes with 310 hours of standby time and up to 17 hours of talk time. The company has siad that 5 minutes of charge can provide up to 3 hours of talk time.

The Coolpad Max has been priced at Rs. 24,999. It will be sold exclusively by Amazon India and will be available in Rose Gold and Royal Gold colors from May 30.
