Coolpad Conjr Launched With 13 MP OIS Camera For $180
Amidst all the crazy gadget launches during CES 2017, Coolpad has launched another affordable smartphone. The new Coolpad Conjr is a $180 smartphone that comes with a good 13 MP camera featuring Optical Image Stabilisation. The phone comes with a 5 inch HD display and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Coolpad Conjr Specifications
The Coolpad Conjr comes with a 5 inch IPS LCD display of HD resolution, giving you a pixel density of ~294 PPI. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Coolpad’s custom skin, Cool UI 8.0 on top.
For all the good specs that the phone comes with, it features a rather obscure 1 GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6735CP processor with Mali-450 GPU. The phone features 3 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, expandable with a microSD card up to 64 GB.
In terms of imaging, the Conjr comes with a 13 MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilisation and a 5P Largan lens and f/2.2 aperture. It is assisted by an LED flash. The front has an 8 MP f/2.2 camera with an LED flash too, so you can look forward to much better selfies and a well lit video calling experience.
Coming to connectivity, the Coolpad Conjr comes with dual SIM, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. The phone is powered by a 2500 mAh battery.

The Coolpad Conjr has been priced at $180 in the US. It is already available for purchase from the company’s official US website. Pricing and availability details for other markets are known yet. We are not sure if the product will even be sold outside of the USA in the near future.
