Garmin has added a 60-minute daily play goal to make every kid play games for an hour each day. According to Garmin, habits that are formed early in life can keep one healthy for life. The vívofit jr. is designed for ages four to nine and is priced at $79.99. Available in black, broken lava, digi camo, purple strike and real flower band patterns, the fitness band will be available from Fall’16.
“We’re excited to announce our first wearable just for kids – the vívofit jr.,” said Dan Bartel, Garmin vice president of worldwide sales. “The vívofit jr. was designed with kids and parents in mind, from its durable and comfortable band to its engaging app that motivates kids to get moving, while keeping parents involved.”

While it is a good idea to have a fitness band for kids too, the very need to have a fitness band for kid can be a disturbing. Instead of relying of fitness band to make a kid get healthier lifestyle, we strongly suggest to change the habits instead.
