The default setting in Android does not allow you to install applications outside the Google Play Store. If you want to install applications by downloading the ‘apk’ file from internet, this guide will help you enable installation from other other sources. - Open settings application, tap on [Additional Settings].
- Tap on [Device & Privacy].
- Go to [Apps Installed from Unknown Sources].
You will now see list of applications that can install other apps from unkown sources like webpages etc. Select application and select [Allow].
