[CES 2015] Acer announces Liquid Z410 budget Android smartphone
At CES 2015, Acer has announced a new 4G LTE enabled smartphone, Liquid Z410. Liquid Z410 is powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6732 processor and Mali-760 graphics processor and runs Android operating system, most probably KitKat (v4.4). The display is 4.5″ in size and has IPS panel with qHD resolution (245 ppi). There is a 5mp autofocus camera with LED flash at the rear and a 2mp camera with 80 degree wide angle at the front. The Acer Liquid Z410 will be available in EMEA from end of February at a starting price of €129.
Battery life, at 5.5 hours of talktime, is not so great (400 hours of standby). Other features include AcerRAPID key (placed under the camera) that gives users wide array of customizable actions with one touch, Acer QuickTouch provides users touch-gesture based control interface, a brand new user interface, dual shot features that lets you take a photo using front and rear camera at the same time, DTS Studio Sound audio enhancement, AcerEXTEND allows users to control Z410 smartphone using a PC or laptop running Windows (if connected to same wireless network) and QuickMode using which users can setup different user interface modes.
