Bluestack App Player application hits 10 million downloads
Bluestack application can be used to run Android applications on Windows OS and in just under a year, the application has been downloaded 10 million times. The application is still in beta and is free to use. This is a milestone that none including those who developed the application expected to reach and we congratulate them on this terrific achievement.
Bluestacks App Player application was first launched in December 2012 as a beta to run Android applications on Mac OS X and later was ported to Windows OS. You can give the application a try but do note that the application is a bit laggy and buggy in its current state. We hope that we see the day when the application comes out of beta state and gets wide spread adoption. You can download the app for Windows OS from here and for Mac OS X from here.
“When we launched the beta we all took bets on where we’d be in one year,” BlueStacks CEO Rosen Sharma told AllThingsD. “No one said 10 million.”
