Bluesmart is an amazing suitcase with built in charger GPS digital scale
You may have seen so many suitcase adverts on our TV channels where their product is shows as the best suitcase you will ever see. Well, one look at this suitcase and all of those brands will bow their heads in shame. Bluesmart, a startup founded by young entrepreneurs has created a suit case that not only carries your luggage but can lock/unlock it, weight it, track its location and notify you if you are leaving it behind. You can also charge your phone 6 times using the built-in battery “in a suitcase”. The project is awaiting funding on Indiegogo and as of now, has raised more than $2 million. You can preorder the suitcase for $349. While shipping is free across USA, it will cost 30$ for shipping to Canada and Europe. If you want the suitcase to be shipped to other regions, it will cost $80.
Named Bluesmart, you can lock and unlock the suitcase using your smartphone and the lock is TSA accepted (Travel Sentry Approval). Bluesmart has a built in digital scale that is activate when you pull the handle and will send the weight detail to your smartphone and advice you if the airline will accept the weight. There are built-in proximity sensor that will warn you when you wander too far off it. In case you forget the suitcase, Bluesmart can start pinging you with location. Bluesmart is working on getting the apps ready for iOS and Android operating systems. Coming to device charging, you can charge upto two devices at the same time.
Other features include real time reports with trends like miles traveled, time spent in each country etc using the application. The team is workiing on getting functionality to smart watches.
