ASUS release MG278Q WQHD display for professional gamers
ASUS MG278Q is a new 27” WQHD display, made for professional gamers. MG278Q comes with a 1mp response time, a 144Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync technology. MG278Q will be available for sale in Asia and Europe in August and will be released in North American in September.
The MG278Q also has a ultra-low blue light fliter to reduce eye strain by up to 70% and has four different blue light filter settings and the 2560×1440 pixel resolution gives superior image quality. AMD FreeSync on the other hand enables super smooth game play. Other features include hotkey for crosshair overlay, thin bezel for multi-monitor setup, FPS counter, six preset displayi modes (scenery, racing, cinema, RTS/RPG, FPS, sRGB).
Connectivity options include dual-link DVI, 2x HDMI ports, 1x DisplayPort 1.2, 1x HDMI port, 2x fast charging USB 3.0 ports.
