ASUS announce Zenfone 2 with whopping 4GB RAM
ASUS Zenfone series has been pretty popular among developing countries and among budget conscious buyers. Today, ASUS has announced a successor to the Zenfone series, the Zenfone 2. The Zenfone 2 comes with whopping 4GB of RAM and this is more than many budget notebooks/laptops/tablets that are in markets these days. The display is 5.5” in size and has IPS panel display with FullHD resolution. Thanks to the edge-to-edge display, the phone looks absolutely gorgeous. Body of Zenfone 2 has a brushed metal finish and comes in wide range of colors. At the edges, the phone is just 3.9mm thin and the bezel is just 3.3mm thick. Powered by 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 quad core processor, Zenfone 2 runs Android operating system with ZenUI overlay interface. Thanks to the new processor and massive amount of RAM, the phone is up to seven times faster than Zenfone. There is a 13mp camera at the rear that takes great photos in low-light conditions.
The 3000mAh battery on Zenfone 2 should give full day battery backup and thanks to the fast charging support, it takes only 39 minutes to charge 60% of the battery from 0%.
