ASUS announce RoG GR6 gaming desktop in ultra compact form factor
ROG GR6 is a new gaming desktop from ASUS and this one comes in an ultra-compact form factor. Powered by 5th generation Intel Core i5 processor and NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX™ 960M graphics card, GR6 will run Windows 8.1 operating system. GR6 comes with a matte black finish and has Mayan-inspired detailing. The RoG logo will be glowing and it looks absolutely stunning. Its not only gaming that GR6 excels at. This one is also meant for the audiophiles. GR6 delivers immersive and detailed audio and this is thanks to the SupremeFX audio, ELNA® audio capacitors, Sonic SenseAmp, Sonic SoundStage and Sonic Radar II.
GameFirst (into version 3 now) is another unique feature in GR6 that create better and lag-free gaming experience by giving priority to game packets on the network. Other features include Steam Big Picture Launcher that gives access to Steam Big Picture at a touch of a button.
RoG GR6, though it is a ultra compact system, is easy to upgrade. GR6 comes with slide off covers that provide easy access to 2.5” HDD/SSD bays and memory bays. R6 runs super quiet, at 20dB when idle and 28dB when at full load. Thanks to dual copper heat pipes and a large fan, RoG GR6 runs pretty cool.
Those who buy GR6 will have option to go with RoG Gladius Mouse and M801 keyboard or RoG Sica mouse and RA01 keyboard bundle. Users also get 100GB of free ASUS WebStorage cloud storage for a year, 1-year free Kaspersky anti-virus license and HomeCloud for remote access. Coming to ports, there is Intel Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, DisplayPort, S/PDIF port, 4x USB 3.0 ports, 2x USB 2.0 ports
