Apple Confirms Oct 16th Event – Sends out Invite “It’s been way too long”
Apple has confirmed the date for October event by sending out invites to various media institutions (October 16th 2014). The invite reads “It’s been way too long”. The whole tech industry has been abuzz with discussions about a revisit to Mac OS X Yosemite, the launch of next generation iPad Air, and much discussed finger print access to iPads, similar to current iPhones.
There is also a discussion about whether Apple will be launching 12.9-inch iPad Pro and a follow up to iPad mini. There are rumors about launch of new 27-inch, 5120 x 2880-pixel iMac desktop and a brand new 12-inch MacBook, both featuring Retina displays. With long due update for Apple’s Macbook and Mac mini lineup, there is a good chance that the lineup could see a refresh.
