Apple announce new Apple TV with advanced remote and new TV OS
Till date, Apple’s effort in TV space has been sub standard but today, with the new Apple TV, Apple is set to take the TV space. The new Apple TV comes with new Apple TVOS which is based on iOS. Powered by 64-bit A8 chip, the Apple TV comes with Bluetooth 4 and 802.11ac Wi-Fi built-in and has HDMI and Ethernet ports. The new Apple TV will be available from late October and will cost $139 for 32GB and $199 for 64GB.
The new remote has glass touch surface, an accelerometer, gyroscope, Siri integration which means that the navigation is super easy using the new remote and you can play games using the remote as a controller. There is a microphone button on the remote and you can activate Siri by pressing that. Keep the button pressed and send your voice commands in ‘free language’ to Siri and watch Siri perform search based on your commands.
The new remote can last up to 3 months on a single charge and you can recharge the same by connecting it to wall charger or external charger using Lightning connector.
