AOC U2870VQE 28-inch 4K Ultra HD Monitor Launched For $349
If you are out in the market for a new high resolution monitor that does not cost a bomb, you may want to consider the newly launched AOC U2870VQE monitor. At 28 inches, the new AOC monitor comes with a 4K resolution and costs $349.
The AOC monitor may not have a lot of fancy features, but you get 28 inches of high resolution goodness at a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Apart from that, the basic ports such as VGA, DisplayPort, Mini-DisplayPort, and HDMI with MHL support are present. There are no USB ports or built in speakers for audio out, unfortunately.
The AOC monitor comes with Temporal Dithering technology, with support for 10-bit signals. Even though it can output only 8-bit signals, the Temporal Dithering tech allows it to output 10-bit signals in 8-bit, displaying up to 16.7 million colours. The monitor’s dynamic contrast ratio is 70,000,000:1, with a static ratio of 1000:1. Maximum brightness is at 300 cd/m2.
