Android Marshmallow update released for Moto G (3rd Gen) in India
Motorola has a new year gift for Moto G (3rd Gen) users in India. After releasing the Android Marshmallow to Moto G (3rd Gen) in US, Motorola has announced the update roll-out to the device’s Indian variant. This was announced by Motorola on Twitter. The update is released via Over-The-Air(OTA) update.

How to install Android 6.0 Marshmallow OTA on Moto G:
If you have received a notification message for this update:
1. Select “Yes, I’m in”.
2. After the software is downloaded, select “Install now”.
3. After the software is installed, your phone will re-start automatically.
4. Your phone is now updated to Android 6.0.
It has to be noted OTA roll-out is staged in phases, so it will take few weeks for it to reach all corners. Until, then readers can follow the steps below to manually check for update on your phone by-
1. Select the Settings icon in the apps menu.
2. Select “About phone”.
3. Select “System updates”.
4. If the update is ready, select “Yes, I’m in”. After the software is downloaded, select “Install now”.
5. After the software is installed, your phone will re-start automatically.
6. Your phone is now updated to Android 6.0.
Other Motorola devices, which are in line to receive the update, include Moto X Pure Edition (2nd gen) in the US, Moto X Play, Moto Maxx (2014), Moto Turbo (2014), Moto G (2nd gen), Moto E (2015) LTE models only (in select markets)
