Android 6.0 Marshmallow update released – Factory images for Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7, Nexus 9 and Nexus Player are out
Google has just released the latest version of Android – Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The search giant has released the update in the form of factory images, flashable on all the supported devices. An over-the-air update is also being rolled out in a staged release.
The latest update to Android brings with it a lot of new features and bug fixes, essentially fixing the nightmarish Lollipop release. The new features include Now on Tap, Doze battery savings algorithm, app data backup support and fingerprint support. There are other security fixes as well, so if you have one of the few eligible devices, get ready for your Marshmallow update.
Here are all the devices that can be currently updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
