American Express official Windows Phone app is out

Big name apps have been trickling to Windows Phone store, and the latest to start supporting Windows Phone is American Express. It’s only available to US card account holders currently, officially.

The Amex app will let you check recent activity, make payments and redeem your membership points. The app itself, though, appears to be just a web wrapper for the mobile website. If you can download the app onto your phone out of the US, then you can probably try logging into your account, since it’s a mere web wrapper. Of course, this requires you to hold an Amex account, in the first place.
