AMD FreeSync compatible monitors from Samsung to be out in March 2015

AMD FreeSync is a new technology from that gets GPU get in perfect sync with the display so that the graphics card does not send a new frame before the display finishes drawing the existing frame. This removed what is popularly known as ‘screen tear’. A Freesync-compatible AMD Radeon™ graphics card, a Freesync-enabled AMD Catalyst™ graphics driver and a DisplayPort Adaptive-Sync-compatible display work together to abolish tearing, eliminate stuttering and greatly reduce input latency, making life better for gamers, and – really – for anyone who appreciates a seamless viewing experience. AMD has announced this week that Samsung’s Visual Display division will be the first to make use of FreeSync technology and the first UHD displays with FreeSync will be released in March 2015. Samsung UD590 (23.6-inch and 28-inch models) and UE850 (23.6-inch, 27-inch and 31.5-inch models) will be the first monitors from Samsung with build-in FreeSync. Also, Capcom announced that they will collaborate with AMD on AMD Mantle API to enhance “Panta-Rhei” engine to improve Capcom games.
