Amazon sets up free Wi-Fi zones with unlimited internet in Hyderabad, Chennai and Pune
Amazon India has set up free Wi-Fi zones with unlimited internet in the Indian cities of Hyderabad, Chennai and Pune. The eCommerce giant has set up these free Wi-Fi zones for a limited time, allowing everyone in the said zones to use it without any limit on the usage.
Amazon’s initiative is to help people start using internet on their smartphones and visit sites like Amazon.in, understand the online buying process. There is a lot of suspicion among Indian internet users even today when it comes to purchasing things online, and with this initiative, Amazon hopes to help people get familiar with the entire process. At the end of the day, the company hopes to attract new customers to its platform.
Here is a list of the Amazon free Wi-Fi zones in the cities of Hyderabad, Chennai and Pune:
- Hyderabad: Secunderabad junction, Dilsukhnagar bus depot and Ameerpet
- Chennai: Bus bays at Santhome High Road, Egmore High Road, Velacherry High Road and Dr. Nair Road
- Pune: Bus buys at Bund Garden Road, J.M. Road, East Street Road and M.G. Road
Note that these free Wi-Fi zones will be operational only for a limited time. Amazon says that it will keep these zones up to August 3rd only.
