Amazon Echo Show is integrated with Hulu and NBC for live TV and on-demand streaming service. All you need to say is “Alexa, watch Good Morning America” or “Alexa, tune to ESPN on Hulu” to switch to the show that you need. Coming to music videos, Alexa Echo Show can play videos from Vevo and you just need to ask Alexa to play a video. Alexa Echo Show takes recipes to next level. Video Doorbell and Built In Smart Home Hub

Amazon Echo Show will now have two way talk feature, thanks to integration with Ring and August doorbell cameras. When the front doorbell rings, you can ask Alexa to answer the front door. You can then see and talk to whoever the visitor is. Alexa Routines can play custom announcements when front door camera detects movement or when a visitor rings the bell.

Amazon has also tie up with Zigbeen smart home hub to let Alexa discover your devices. When you say “Alexa, discover my devices”, Alexa will discover and setup compatible light bulbs, plugs and switches in your home (smart ones) without a need for additional apps/hubs. Once setup, you can use Alexa to control these devices. With a built-in Zigbee smart home hub, Echo Show makes it simple to start your smart home. Just say, “Alexa, discover my devices” to automatically discover and setup compatible light bulbs, plugs and switches without the need for additional hubs or apps. Once set-up, ask Alexa to turn on the lights or use the touch-screen to turn devices on and off.

Better and more Calling Options

Amazon Echo Show has built in 5mp HD camera for video calling. The video calling will only go to those who have Echo Spot, Echo Show or the Alexa application. You can use Drop In on supported Echo devices in playroom etc to see what your kids are doing.
