You get mobiles in all sorts of color: Blue, Gold, Pink, etc… This bold move was pioneered by Nokia Lumia mobiles in the past and now it has taken off. Huawei is famous for its Blue color variants of Mobile phones and likewise, iPhone got in the trend of Red-colored mobile phones with their Product Red variants. This trend has caught up with many mobile manufacturers and it coincides with the color theme of valentine’s day.  So this valentine’s day, if you are looking to buy a Red colored mobile for your love interest, here are the choices.

Probably, this is the best mobile of the year so far. Oneplus 5T was launched shortly after Oneplus 5 was launched. Apple’s product red was trending at the time of Oneplus 5 launch and I was expecting Oneplus to give a fitting reply to Apple with a Red colored Oneplus 5. But it took a while for Oneplus to come up with Red color variant and it is good that they decided to launched Oneplus 5T. Easily, Oneplus 5T is the most versatile and powerful mobile you can buy today. It is available in Midnight Black color and a limited edition Star Wars variant as of now. But the Red is a like a cherry topping. After flaunting your Midnight Black performance, you can gift her the steamy hot Lava Red, in the morning on Valentine’s day. Mi A1 – Red

If you don’t have a budget for Oneplus 5T, but still you want to gift the best mobile, go for the Mi A1. Mi A1 is the first mobile from Xiaomi to shed the MIUI skin. It comes with Stock Android User experience directly from Google. It has one of the best dual camera arrangement at the price point of Rs 15000. Honor 7x – Limited Edition Red

Honor has been introdcuing quite a number of mobiles this year. The Honor 7X is one of the best mobiles released by them lately. Honor 7x is an all round performer. It has good camera, performance, battery and looks. To top it up, Honor has launched a Red color limited edtion of Honor 7x and in my personal opinion, it looks really good in Red. Honor is known to have defined Blue in mobiles and now they have proved their name in Red as well. Check out my detailed review on Honor 7x.

Vivo V7+

One of the early devices to come with a full vision display, the Vivo V7+ is known to many for its selfie camera. But to me, I find the mobile a beast of a mobile in battery life. I am using the V7+ as my secondary mobile as it has a dependable battery and lasts me a solid 2 days on a single charge. It is also available in Red color variant from stores and Amazon. But I did not like Manish Malhotra’s signature scribbled on the back. Why would anyone gift their love with someone else’s name scratched on it? Unless you find a way to remove that name or you are a big fan of Manish Malhotra, you can avoid this mobile.

OPPO F5 (Red, 64 GB)

For those obsessed with Selfies, Oppo is the destination. Running on a Mediatek 6737T Helios P23, the Oppo F5 is not a performance beast. But the Red color variant is stylish for sure. Probably it has lent a bit of its DNA to Oneplus 5T. It may have 6 GB RAM, but still, the MediaTek processor holds back its performance. If your love interest is selfie obsessed and does not care about the mobile’s performance, go for the Oppo F5.

Intex Elyt Dual – Royal Red

Intex is a major player in the entry-level mobile phone segment in India. The Intex Elyt series of mobile phone offers good value for money and a few features that may not available in other mobiles in the price segment. Elyt Dual is one such mobile which has a dual front-facing camera for a price of Rs 6999. We have reviewed the mobile in detail and found it to have a decent performance and good camera in this price range. Royal Red color variant of this mobile will be available in stores for the same price of Rs 6999. So if you are not looking to spend big on mobiles, go for it.

If you are looking to buy a basic feature phone in Red, I found the Intex Ne0 V+ in Black and Red to be a good option under Rs 1000.
