All India Radio release Windows Phone application

When there was no FM, when there was not TV, there was All India Radio (AIR). The Indian official radio broadcast company has finally evolved. Windows Phone users can now install AIR application to get brodcasts streams in various languages. All India Radio Live will offer infotainment to Indians who live away from their state to tune in to broadcasts that happen in their mother tongue. Do give it a try atleast once to feel that nostalgia from radio days.

AIR’s official app “All India Radio Live” offers a bouquet of infotainment & Public Service rendered in Hindi, Urdu and some major regional Indian languages to cater to the intense media needs of mobile-wielding listening public in India and abroad. It cares for nostalgic Indians living far away from territories where their mother tongue is spoken, folk-lore enjoyed and communication idiom used as tool of effective expression. The app knits Indians cutting across geographical boundaries.
