Acer upgrades Chromebook 15 to Intel Broadwell CPU
Acer Chromebook 15, the one of the best selling Chrome OS notebooks just got a mega upgrade. The upgraded variant is powered by an Intel Core i5 Broadwell CPU (same CPU that powers Chromebook Pixel 2) and comes with a 15.6” display. The upgraded model will be out by April with a price tag of $499.99.
Other specifications include 4GB of RAM, 32GB of SSD, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports. There is a full size HDMI output port, an SD card slot for adding more storage. The new Chromebook 15 will also have 8 hours of battery life.
