Acer Launches Spin 5, Spin 7 Windows Convertible Notebooks
Acer launched two new Windows based notebooks today. Named the Spin 5 and Spin 7, these two new convertibles come with Windows 10 out of the box. The Acer Spin 5 comes with a 13.3 inch display while the Spin 7 comes with a slightly bigger 14 inch display.

Acer’s latest convertibles expand the existing line of Windows 10 convertibles/hybrids. The Spin 5 comes with a 13.3 inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It comes with an Intel Core i5-6200U Skylake processor. The Spin 5 comes with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.
In terms of connectivity, the Spin 5 comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack, an HDMI port, one USB 3.0 port and two USB 2.0 ports. Acer has priced it at $650. In addition to this, the company will also launch a version with an Intel Core i3 Skylake processor and 128 GB storage at $500.
Coming to the Spin 7, Acer has fit a 14 inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It comes with an Intel Core i7-7Y75 Kaby Lake processor. You get the same 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage with the Spin 7 as well.
Coming to connectivity, the Spin 7 comes with 3.5mm audio jack and 2 USB 3.1 ports. Acer has priced it at $1250
