Sony Xperia XA Ultra is a gorgeous bezel free phablet
Sony Xperia XA Ultra is the latest addition to the Xperia X lineup (X, X Performance, XA) and this one is designed to cater to those who love using a phablet. The XA Ultra comes with a 6″ edge-to-edge display and is absolutely bezel free. The display has 1080p resolution. Sony has not announced much of specification or launch date or pricing but once its done, we will share the same with you folks.
The frame is made of metal and will be available in black, white, lime gold color options. The Xperia XA will be powered by Mediatek Helio P10 chipset and will have 3GB of RAM. There is 16GB of onboard storage and users can expand the storage using microSD card slot. There is no mention of battery size but according to Sony, a single charge will give 2 days of battery life. Now, we all know that Sony is among the best in battery management so this should not come as a surprise given the space available for large battery. Mediatek’s Quick Charging is not as fast as the Qualcomm QC 3.0 but you can get 5.5 hours of battery life by charging the phone for just 10 minutes.
At launch Sony Xperia XA Ultra will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-loaded. Coming to optics, there is a 21.5mp rear camera (with hybrid autofocus, OIS etc) while the front camera is a humongous 16mp unit featuring OIS (optical image stabilization). This one is going to take amazing selfie photos and videos with less blur and shaking.
