ColorWare gives 24k carat gold treatment to Xbox One
What you see in this picture is an Xbox One that got a 24k Gold treatment. Only 50 of these units are made and each unit will cost whopping $1,199. Named Xbox One Pearl, the modding is done by ColorWare. This is a North American modified version and will be sold only in this region.
The front panel surrounding the Blurday drive is coated in 24k goldand the rest of the device has rich pearl finish giving the console an absolutely gorgeous look and feel. The top panel of the controller too has got gold treatment but it doesn’t look as rich as the console itself. Due to the modifications, the warranty is taken care by ColorWare and not by Microsoft.
